TEE #052 One Year of Full-Time Etsy Success and 52 Blog Posts Later!

Today marks an incredibly meaningful anniversary for me - one year of being a full-time Etsy seller! When I decided to leave my 9-to-5 job and pursue my Etsy shop business, I was taking a huge leap of faith. There was no guarantee of success, but I was following my passion.

As I reflect on this past year, I'm filled with an immense sense of pride and gratitude. My handmade business has flourished beyond my expectations, allowing me to make a sustainable living doing what I love. The freedom and flexibility of being my own boss is priceless.

Don't get me wrong, the journey hasn't been all smooth sailing. There have been plenty of challenges, self-doubt, and moments where I wondered if I had made the right choice. But looking back, I wouldn't change a thing. The rewards have vastly outweighed the struggles.

One of the highlights was having the opportunity to speak to postgraduate entrepreneurship students at Winchester School of Art today. Sharing my experiences and passion for handmade business was incredibly fulfilling. My key advice? Follow your passion wholeheartedly. It's the path to the most rewarding life.

This year has been one of tremendous personal and financial growth. I've made sales in the thousands, gained amazing customers and clients worldwide, and had the privilege of playing a part in the success of fellow Etsy sellers. Each sale, positive review, and connection made me believe even more in my craft.

So to all the current and aspiring Etsy entrepreneurs out there, my advice is this: Expect an emotional rollercoaster, but know that the ride is undoubtedly worth taking. Embrace the hustle, pour your heart into your craft, and success will follow.

Here's to year two being even more rewarding and fulfilling! I'm deeply grateful for this journey and can't wait for what's next.
