A box, white paper or fabric, clear tape, a ruler, a pencil, and a cutting tool.

Cut Out the Sides

Mark and cut out squares on three sides of the box, leaving about an inch of border for stability.

Cover the Sides

Tape the white paper or fabric over the cut-out squares. This will diffuse the light entering the box, creating a soft glow.

Create the Backdrop

Place a piece of white paper or fabric inside the box, creating a smooth curve at the back. This will be your seamless backdrop for photographing items.

1. Position Your Light Source: Place lamps or other light sources on either side of the lightbox to illuminate your product.
2. Place Your Product: Position your product inside the lightbox against the seamless backdrop.

Here is my DIY setup, using stiff foam board from Hobbycraft (cost is slightly more than suggestion above) and using my tripod to keep the camera sturdy (super important!)  You can use your smart phone for the same effect, be sure to wipe your camera lenses clean!
